The cut ended up being EXACTLY what I was looking for. Mr. Johnny was like Edward Scissor Hands the way he wielded his scissors. I love my cut. I was in there with a few other ladies who were regulars. One lady looked perfectly slayed and the other thought very highly of her cuts.

Johnny is awesome! He really took his time so make sure you don't have anything else scheduled for awhile. He really pays attention to every single detail and I'm so thankful I found him. He gave me exactly what I wanted and my hair looks great! He does up charge a little for having long hair, but I understood because it takes more product. He's awesome.

I began transitioning to natural in March of 2015, and have been keeping a standing weekly appointment with Johnny ever since. I was a little apprehensive at first because I'm a cosmetologist myself and I've never been in a shop with one chair or had a man cut my hair before. However Johnny and I got to talking about hair and where we both were trained and we hit it off in about five minutes. I told him that I wanted to donate my hair to cancer patients so he cut 22 ins off at my request and highlighted it for me. I like my hair and the time he spent with me.

My journey to natural has had its ups and downs, because I’ve had to be totally dependent on Johnny to keep me looking my best, but he never disappoints! He’s been my mainstay, and thanks to him, my transition has been silky smooth ( pun intended). So the conclusion of the matter is: more expensive, yes, but worth every penny; higher maintenance, yes, but the end justifies the means; quality service, always, which is what sets Johnny apart and has kept him on the cutting edge of his profession for over 25 years.
